Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- 20 large brussels sprouts
- 5 teaspoons Dijon or grainy mustard
- 1 package prosciutto or ¼ pound of your favorite ham, thinly sliced
- Toothpicks
Method:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut the brussels sprouts in half from top to bottom.
- Combine olive oil and garlic in a small bowl then add brussels sprouts and stir to coat. Place on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, or until sprouts soften and edges are crisp.
- Take one half of a sprout and top with prosciutto or ham and a dab of mustard then place another sprout on top, cut sides facing each other and secure with a toothpick.
